AHMEDABAD, NOV 27
South Western Air Command Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Air Marshal Vikram Singh on Sunday flagged off the ‘Run 4 our Soldier Marathon’. It was organized at Shantigram, Ahmedabad by Adani Group.
A total of 624 Air Warriors, including their families, participated in the the 10-Km Run at 0700 am.
Corporal OP Saran, medical assistant, Command Hospital, IAF, Bengaluru was declared as the winner of 42-km marathon.
The participation in Marathon Run was in various categories of 42 Km, 21 Km, 10 Km and 05 Km. The publicity stall was set up at the venue which provided information about various career prospects in Indian Air Force to the youngsters. The display of a Flying Simulator was another source of attraction among the youth and locals present at Shantigram.

They enjoyed the virtual experience of flying in the Fighter Jet which gave them thrill and excitement. It also inspired the youth present in the gathering for career in Indian Air Force.
