Air Marshal Vikram Singh,, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, SWAC, IAF on Sunday inaugurated the first 3D concrete Printed Permanent Married Accommodation of Defence Services at Vayu Shakti Nagar, Headquarter South Western Air Command (SWAC) on Sunday, March 13, 2022, says a Defence release.
Structure is lighter than RCC & uses aspirational specifications to make it a functional optimal #green building with least carbon foot print

The structure consists of 85 reinforced 3D concrete modules of zone III earthquake specifications. The structure is lighter than RCC and uses aspirational specifications to make it a functional optimal green building with the least carbon foot print. The building is conceptualized by the HQ SWAC and Chief Engineer, Military Engineering service, Gandhinagar Zone.
The 3D accommodation was inaugurated in the presence of Lieutenant General Harpal Singh, ADC, Engineer-in-Chief, and Air Marshal K Anantharaman, Air Office-in-Charge Administration, Air Headquarters.
