A team of Sindh Brigade comprising two officers and 18 other ranks from Jamnagar Military station has taken forward the third leg of Swarnim Vijay Varsh Cyclothon 1971 from Radhanpur in Gujarat to Bakhasar in Rajsthan. It covered almost 230-km of distance spread over two states, a release said.
The cycling expedition served the dual purpose to promote the spirit of adventure amongst the participants and to connect with Ex-Servicemen by felicitating the War Veterans, Veer Naris and assisting the next of kins of battle casualties & physical casualties, the statement added.

A medical camp was also organized at Bakhasar by the medical team of this formation. As the expedition is progressing, the enthusiasm and zeal of the participants are scaling new heights day by day. The expedition is getting an overwhelming response in the rural areas and people are cheering up the team alongside the roads.
