The ‘Swarnim Vijay Varsh Victory Flame’ was carried from Military Station Dhrangadhra to the house of the senior most veteran of the area Captain Sudhir Kumar (Retired), a War Veteran of 1971 war, to pay the respect to the veteran on Monday morning, a release said.

This was followed by a series of events which included a Blood Donation Camp in which more than 100 soldiers donated blood, Equipment display, cultural programme by school children with bursting motivation and enthusiasm, the statement added.
The programme was attended by soldiers, War Veterans, Veer Naris and Civil Dignitaries. At the end of the cultural programme the Veer Naris were felicitated by Station Commander, Military Station Dhrangadhra.
The Swarnim Vijay Varsh Victory flame was carried to all the unit’s Quarter Guards to pay homage. At the end of the day a War Documentary was screened at the Sarvatra Cinema hall, which was witnessed by all the families and children of the station along with Swarnim Vijay Team.
