Swarnim Vijay Varsh was celebrated at Air Force Station Jamnagar for two days – Friday and Saturday to commemorate 50 years of 1971 Indo-Pak War, says a release.
2-minute silence was observed for Martyrs & #SwarnimVijayMashaal was forwarded to INS Valsura
Display of dummy missile systems was organized at AF Stn Jamnagar on the occasion

‘Swarnim Vijay Varsh Victory Flame’ was received at Station Museum by Air Commodore MS Deswal, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jamnagar and Air Commodore (Retired) SS Tyagi, senior most War Veteran at Jamnagar.
A two-minute silence was observed for the martyrs and the ‘Victory Flame’ was forwarded to INS Valsura.
Display of dummy missile systems was organized at Air Force Station Jamnagar on the occasion. A fly past was performed by three helicopters and slithering operations were also demonstrated by IAF Garud Commanders.
