GANDHINAGAR, JULY 28

Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University (SSIU), situated in Gandhinagar, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), an autonomous body operating under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.

The MoU signing ceremony took place at Swarrnim House at its Adalaj campus last week. The collaboration will open up various avenues for joint research and academic pursuits and exchanges in homoeopathic medicine and public health. The MoU was formally signed by Dr Ragin Shah, Provost of SSIU, and Dr Subhash Kaushik, Director General of CCRH, in the presence of senior representatives from both the institutions.

The thought behind the MoU is to harness the collective expertise and resources of SSIU and CCRH to promote interdisciplinary research and technological intervention in homoeopathy, healthcare, life sciences and social sciences. As part of this partnership agreement, Swarrnim University as well as CCRH will undertake joint research work aligned with national health priorities, facilitate seminars, workshops and encourage scientific brainstorming sessions. The MoU will also support academic and training exchange between the two organisations.

Speaking about this collaboration, Rishabh Jain, President of Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University, said, “This partnership reflects our commitment to advancing integrative healthcare through scientific research and innovation. By working closely with a national body like CCRH, we aim to create a robust platform for knowledge exchange, evidence-based research, and transformative learning in the field of homoeopathy. It is our belief that such collaborations will shape the future of healthcare delivery and public well-being in India.”

The collaboration is expected to bolster Gujarat’s leadership in integrative healthcare research and open new pathways for industry-academia partnerships in the pharma and homeopathy sectors.

Dr Ragin Shah (Provost), Dr Hiren Kadikar (Registrar), Dr Amita Peter (Principal), Dr Harsh Trivedi (Deputy Registrar), Jiten Thakkar (Incubation Manager) and Minesh Prajapati (Head, Swarrnim Institute of Entrepreneurship) remained present at the MoU signing ceremony on behalf of the University. Representing CCRH were Dr Subhash Kaushik, Director General, and Dr Harleen Kaur, Senior Research Officer.
