Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Region Income Tax Department is observing grievance redressal month from Monday, April 22 to May 22.
According to a press release, the department will focus on resolving grievances that the tax payers file on CP Gram and E-Nivaran portals. Further, the Tamil Nadu and Puducherry region of the Department is making special arrangements for the taxpayers and their representatives to meet the Jurisdictional Assessing Officers and the Senior officers, in person, if required, to redress their grievances.

This facility will be available on Wednesdays – 24th April, 1st May, 8th May, 15th May and 22nd May 2024 from 10:30 am to 01:30 pm
It is brought to the notice of all concerned that at all the stations in TN & P region where the Department has offices, the senior most officer of the Jurisdictional PCIT Charge and his team will be personally available to meet the tax payers and their representatives in the ASK Centre or at a dedicated space in the office (wherever ASK Centre is not available) on every Wednesday starting from 24th April till 22nd May 2024 from 10:30 am to 01:30 pm to receive and resolve the taxpayers’ grievances. This facility will be available on 24th April, 1st May, 8th May, 15th May and 22nd May 2024, in addition to the existing online grievance redressal mechanism.
All Taxpayers and their representatives are welcome to utilise this facility.
