Tamil TV artiste Agathiya, who has acted in serials like Raja Rani, Bharathi Kannamma and Megasangamam in established channels – Vijay TV, SunTV and Zee Tamil, has many tricks up her sleeves.
Taking part at the passing-out event of Chennai-based Rekha Make-up Studio and Academy, anchor- boxer-artiste Agathiya turned into a make-up artist for women and transgender activist Sasha.
To drive home the message to the society that transgenders need empathy and not sympathy, Special Guest Sasha was transformed into a bride in beautiful red silk saree and sashayed the ramp.
After the ramp show, Sasha appreciated the academy for creating women entrepreneurs and building confidence in them to be able to grow and sustain in this patriarchal society. Sasha exhorted all to constantly upskill themselves so as to thrive and outshine in the competitive market. She also and wished them a better and bright future.
