Anand MP Miteshbhai Patel recently inaugurated various development works – a newly built water tank, a health and wellness centre, and RCC road – amounting to Rs. 46 lakh at Ambav village adopted by him under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojna in the presence of FICCI FLO Ahmedabad Chapter Chairperson, Taruna Patel, Nivedita Foundation Chairperson, Nipa Patel, Sarpanch, Hansakuvarba Raj, and other dignitaries, a release said.
On this occasion, Taruna Patel said, “We, at FICCI FLO, are committed to empowering women from the grassroots level by providing skill development training in various areas, including sewing, making sanitary pads, and bakery products with active support from MP, Miteshbhai Patel, Nipa Patel of Nivedita Foundation and the local administration.”
She called for collective efforts to achieve the goal of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and added that the financial independence of women is very important and skill development is the best medium to achieve this target. Skill development will build self-confidence and ultimately empower women of different sections.
As a part of the “Atmanirbhar Ambav Project”, training for organic farming/ multi-cropping and farming knowledge will be given at Madhubhan Organic Farm and Housekeeping, F&B, and Bakery training will be imparted at Madhubhan Resort & Spa.
Moreover, a Sports playground for children and a garden for the elderly is also planned with the support of village Sarpanch and MP, Miteshbhai Patel.
