The next session of Tata Literature Live! Business Shastras features a newly launched book titled – #TataStories, written by Mr. Harish Bhat, Author and Brand Custodian Tata Sons. In the foreword for this book, Mr. N Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata Sons wrote, “The rich history and heritage of the Tata Group comes to life through the memorable stories narrated in this book by Harish Bhat. These tales of nation-building and breaking new ground hold important lessons for us all”.

This book is a collection of little known tales of individuals, events and places from the Tata Group, that have contributed to shaping the India we know today. A diamond twice as large as the famous Kohinoor pledged to survive a financial crisis; a meeting with a ‘relatively unknown young monk’ who later went on to be known as Swami Vivekananda; the fascinating story of the first-ever Indian team at the Olympics; the making of India’s first commercial airline and first fully indigenous car; how ‘OK TATA’ made its way to the backs of millions of trucks on Indian highways; a famous race that was both lost and won; the book features 40 such timeless tales about the Tata Group.

Along with Mr. Harish Bhat, Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, National Research Professor Science & Innovation Leader along with Mr. R. Gopalakrishnan, Writer, Corporate Advisor and former Executive Director, Tata Sons will also be joining the session.
