Tata Literature Live! The Mumbai Lit Fest introduces another new and exciting series of live digital events called – Tata Literature Live! Sports Yatras. These series will bring in eminent sports personalities who will share their inspiring journey and success stories.
The inaugural session on August 27, 2020 – Thursday – incidentally, also the 161st birth anniversary of Sir Dorabji Tata – witness Mr. Abhinav Bindra, India’s only individual Olympic Gold Medalist and Mr. Rohit Brijnath, celebrated Author and Senior Sports Writer in an enthralling conversation with Mr. Boria Majumdar, Sports Historian, Author and Curator of this new series, around the topic: “The Journey to an Olympic Gold and Beyond”.
This series marks the centenary of the first Indian team to participate in the Olympic – a breakthrough for Indian sports which was led by Sir Dorabji Tata, second Chairman of the Tata Group.
Whether one is a sportsperson or not, these discussions are sure to provide valuable and thought-provoking lessons for life, a release said.
