Ahead of Team India gearing up to take on traditional rivals Pakistan at Narendra Modi Stadium this week-end for the coveted World Cup, acknowledging the significance of team spirit among the biz community in Ahmedabad, Team On, a community of like-minded bizmen who endorse each others’ business, convened its post-COVID meet in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.
The first-ever meet saw the induction of 44 members, including five woman entrepreneurs. This body had 125 members when it was launched in 2017 and remained dormant owing to the pandemic.
Underlining that today new opportunities are emerging for the country’s businesses to thrive, the Core Committee of Team On said that time is now ripe for realising the theme of “Kaun Banega Business Mein Crorepati !!” to attain Rs 10 crore turn over for each member.
Speaking with navjeevanexpress.com, Kaushal Shah, Author, Real Estate Entrepreneur and Conceptualizer of Team On, said, ”Now, Team On is back. Reloaded.. Focused and with Long Term Vision of Growth for the MSME entrepreneurs of Gujarat after a gap of over two years. Team On will connect successful business tycoons with the MSME entrepreneurs and has a hard core vision of achieving Rs 10 Crore+ business targets for the Team On Players. This would be done by using 6 Sigma techniques of redefining the Mission and Vision Statements, Dream, Objectives and Goals and Long term vision of every entrepreneur and by motivating them to dream beyond and perform much beyond their current capabilities and abilities. We are planning to have eight chapters in Ahmedabad and will facilitate business of over Rs 300 crore for the members by next year. Team On will also branch out to other cities of Gujarat”.
Throwing light on the activitiesof the group, Daxesh Raaval – Branding and Sponsorship, said, “The goals and objectives of the community are that each one will share his/her strategies, motivate others to achieve their targets by knowledge-sharing. For this, fortnightly meetings will be conducted regularly over breakfast and dinner. It will have insightful sessions by successful MSME entrepreneurs who will onboard the Team On members in their companies’ business promotions like sales and strategic planning. This will equip them well with hands on experience in replicating the same in their respective organizations, Team On charges Rs 15,000 annual fee to meet the incidental expenses of the Group. The only criteria to become member of this group is one should be an MSME entrepreneur from any sector.”
The newly formed dedicated Core Committee comprising Piyush Makwana – Captain, Sachin Bhatt – Vice Captain, Nirav Shah – Secretary, Pankin Parikh –Visitor Host, Daxesh Raaval – Branding and Sponsorship, and members- Hinen Shah, Jay Patel, Samir Khandar and Tejas Sathwara.
