Medical practitioners of both allopathy and ayurved have cure for all diseases in our country. What makes this ayurvedic practitioner turned actor-director is his sure cure for the social evil of child trafficking. Yes, out-of-the-box thinking has always been welcomed by critically thinking Tamil fans.
‘Mudakaruthan,’ a film to create awareness on child trafficking and to make the system strong enough to nip the evil from the society, said debutant director-cum-actor Dr K Veera Babu here on Friday.
Releasing the film’s teaser, Director Veera Babu, an ayurvedic doctor by profession said that he was passionate towards cinema for the past 20 years.
‘After discussing with my long time friend and leading film producer Azhagan Thamizhmani and producer Suresh Kamatchi, I have decided to plunge into cinema field to widen my philanthropic activities and social activities.
The film produced by Vayal Films and its co-producers are Azhagan Thamizhmani and Suresh Kamatchi.
After a long gap, music director Sirpi and lyricist Pazhani Bharathi come together for this film to compose four songs. One song was sung by leading play-back singer Chinna Kuyil Chitra and another one by Hariharan.
Speaking on this occasion, producers Azhagan Tamizhmani lauded the services of Dr Veera Babu as Ayurvedic doctor by saving thousands of people from dreaded Coronavirus during the last two waves that had rocked the country.
Azhagan Thamizhmani added that “After hearing the full story, I have decided to produce this film and after seeing the teaser, I am confident that actor-producer-cum-director Veera Babu will definitely taste the success in this film.’’
Producer Suresh Kamatchi also endorsed his views and added that Dr Veera Babu gave his best in stunt and dance scenes, after seeing the teaser, I have full confidence in him and the entire team that the film will be received well by the audience.
Actress Mahana, an MCA degree holder from Paramakudi, the birth place of Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan, said, “I have given my best in ‘Mudakaruthan’ as a ‘chutty’ village girl. The film has four songs, director Veera Babu gave his best in this film. This film will be liked by the children very much.”
