The timing of Train No. 02613 Chennai Egmore – Madurai Tejas Special (6 days a week except Thursdays) are revised with effect from October 13 (Tuesday). The train will have a delayed departure by 30 mts to facilitate the passengers to reach Chennai Egmore from far off places from the city.
A release from Southern Railway said that “On and from October 13, Train No.02613 Chennai Egmore –
Madurai will leave Chennai Egmore at 06.30 hrs and reach Tiruchchirappalli at 10.30 hrs. Leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 10.35 hrs, it will reach Kodaikkananal Road at 11.53 hrs. Leaving Kodaikkanal Road at 11.55 hrs, it will reach Madurai at 12.50 hrs.
The departure has been deferred by 30 minutes in order to facilitate passengers residing in far off places in Chennai City to reach Chennai Egmore to take the train early morning.
However, there is No change in timings of the train in the return direction, from Madurai to Chennai, the release added.
