Governor of Telangana Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan offered prayers at Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Shrine at Tirumala and Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temples in Tiruchanur, Andhra Pradesh on Kanum Pongal, the third day of the harvest festival Makar Sankranti on Sunday.
On 'Kaanum #Pongal festival day had the divine darshan of Lord Sri Venkateshwara Swamy at the holy Tirumala abode.
పవిత్రమైన తిరుమల కొండపై ఈరోజు కలియుగ దైవం శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వర స్వామి వారి దర్శన భాగ్యం కలిగింది.

The temple officials welcomed and arranged a darshan on her visit.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chief Vigilance and Security Officer (CVSO) Gopinath Jatti, temple Deputy Executive Officer Kasturi Bai, Assistant Executive Officer Prabhakar Reddy, Superintendent Seshagiri and Agama Advisor Srinivasacharya were also present.
After Soundararajan offered prayers at the temple, vedic scholars gave her blessings and offered ‘prasad’ of Goddess at the shrine.
The third day of the harvest festival Makar Sankranti is celebrated as Kanuma.
