Stating that technology should reach the poor and needy students, Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan on Wednesday appealed to IT companies and professionals to donate used laptops and tablets to needy students who could not afford to buy them and help them achieve academic excellence.
According to a Raj Bhavan communiqué, the governor has appealed that “The students belonging to poor and downtrodden sections across the State are deprived of online learning as they do not have either laptops or tablet devices and cannot afford to have them on their own.
