Telecom Women Welfare Organization (TWWO), established by the female employees and female family members of BSNL Ahmedabad employees, a non-profit organization working for women empowerment on Wednesday announced it will be holding the Utkarsh Mela 2024 here on Saturday.
BSNL Chairman and Managing Director PK Purwar and Gujarat Chief General Manager Sandeep Savarkar will inaugurate the mela. It will be held at P&T Officers Colony, Satellite, Ahmedabad from noon to 10:00 pm on Saturday.
The Utkarsh Mela will have a total of 50 stalls out of which 10 will be food stalls and the rest will be commercial stalls with products. In these 40 stalls, along with commercial stalls, BSNL will also represent each of the 17 operational areas of Gujarat, in which they will show the specialty of their city. This event will also give a boost to local industries. Apart from this, benefits like community participation, demonstration of products and services etc will also be available, said a senior office-bearer of the TWWO.
It is an ideal platform for vendors to showcase their products and services and promoting entrepreneurship for local businesses. In which visitors will get to enjoy shopping, food, and entertainment.
Besides these houses, lucky draw, gift vouchers, DJ music, live performance, selfie points and other attractions have been organized to entertain people. It is worth mentioning that more than 5 thousand people will visit Utkarsh Mela 2024.
