Both TFAPA & TENTKOTTA have joined hands to support the members of TFAPA for their films through the TENTKOTTA OTT platform.
Salient features of the Memorandum of Understanding are:
- As per the agreement signed between TFAPA & TENTKOTTA, TFAPA shall recommend the new films of its members to TENTKOTTA and the platform will review each of the films and ensure that all the films recommended by TFAPA are either acquired on an outright price (licensing period of 10 years) OR for a Minimum Guarantee (MG) amount and then revenue share OR on pure revenue share basis (pay per view on per hour basis, which is fixed with TFAPA) depending on the merit of the film after viewing the films.
- However, all the films recommended by TFAPA shall be acquired by TENTKOTTA in some business model or the other (out of the three models mentioned) with the consent of the Producer and none will be rejected by TENTKOTTA.
- The Outright price or MG amount shall be the prerogative of TENTKOTTA for each film, depending on its merit and it is up to the Producer to accept the offer or refuse.
- This tie-up between the two Parties will be valid for 5 years from January 2025 till December 2029 and can be further extended after the expiry of this period.
- TENTKOTTA will promote each of the films premiered on its platform (through social media, YouTube and other modes) to get the maximum reach/viewing for the films so that the Producer members of TFAPA earn through Revenue share model in case they are not able to get an Outright or MG offer from TENTKOTTA.
- TENTKOTTA will premiere a minimum of 1 film a week recommended by TFAPA and shall give priority to the films recommended by the Association so that its members get the maximum support. In this way, TENTKOTTA will ensure that at least 52 films recommended by TFAPA are premiered during the year 2025 and the same is ensured in subsequent years of this agreement.
- TENTKOTTA will premiere the films released in the last 3 months theatrically. TFAPA will not recommend films released prior to 3 months to TENTKOTTA in order to get maximum viewership for each of the films premiered and revenue earned by Producers.

Thyagarajan, Working President of TFAPA said, ‘This tie up will be a boon to the members of TFAPA, especially small budget film producers, whose will be recommended by us to TENTKOTTA to acquire in any one of the business models.
