Ahead of Navratri, it’s bonanza for South Superstar’s fans!
For the first time, Thalapathy Vijay and director Vamshi Paidipally have teamed up for a commercial entertainer. The film will be produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sree Venkateswara Creations. Incidentally, this is the first-ever Tamil film for this production house too.
The makers announced the film today, September 26. The title, cast and crew will be announced officially in the coming days
The film has been tentatively titled as Thalapathy 66. Top technicians will be part of the film.

The official press note from producers Dil Raju and Shirish of Sri Venkateswara Creations read, “With immense pleasure and happiness, we at Sri Venkateswara Creations announce our first ever Tamil film with Thalapathy Vijay. We are extremely excited about this much-anticipated project and could not have asked for a better beginning than being associated with Thalapathy Vijay. This will for sure be a proudest project for us (sic).”
The makers announced that the film will be tentatively titled as Thalapathy 66. “Many noted actors and a top-notch technical team will be associated with this prestigious project. All the important information regarding the title and crew will be announced officially very soon (sic).”
