The Diwali trailer as well as the songs of the most-awaited fantasy comedy ‘Thank God’ starring Superstar Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh have taken the social media by storm. The film is all set to release next week and becoming a major treat for the fans this Diwali.

The leading duo of the film Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh are on a promotional spree as the film is closer to its release. The charming duo attended a press conference in Ahmedabad. Along with the film, Sidharth Malhotra also spoke about completing 10 glorious years entry in Bollywood, whereas the leading lady of the film, Rakul Preet expressed her Thank God moment and also her views on how the film has impacted her.

The film revolves around the story of Chitragupt portrayed by Ajay Devgn and a commonly portrayed man Ayan played by Sidharth Malhotra, who’s fighting a battle between life and death realizing his wrongs and rights in the game of life.

Sidharth Malhotra said that the story comes out with a strong message to the society at large and highlights the concept of ‘karma’ and the belief that “as you sow, so you shall reap.”

Going down memory lane of his granny who taught him the ideals of morality, he  said, “I think like how in our country we believe in Karma and as the saying goes `as you sow, so you shall reap’, this concept has been beautifully narrated in the film by the writers and Indra (Kumar) Sir. in my 15 years of filmdom, I have realised this.”

“The film is based on a flawed person who aspires to rise from the lower middle class to the upper middle class and beyond and what measures he takes to get there,” says Sidharth.

Throwing light on his role, he said, “I adored the character and the whole idea that Indra Sir presented, and he did so in a humorous manner. This is an apt fam-com film for Diwali.”

A T-Series Films & Maruti International production, directed by Indra Kumar is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Sunir Kheterpal, Deepak Mukut, Anand Pandit and Markand Adhikari and co-produced by Yash Shah.

Although Sidharth had entered the Bollywood 15 years ago, his first breakthrough came in October 2012 in the form of first hit film. The film is all set to release this Diwali on 25th October 2022.
