Bringing in the early Christmas cheer in the twin city of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, The Leela Gandhinagar marked the formal beginning of Christmas festivities with a traditional cake-mixing ceremony.
The cake-mixing ceremony hosted by Executive Chef Kapil Dube and team, provided an exclusive experience of cake mixing/mashing to the guests exclusively. Known for being one of the popular leisure weekend getaway destinations, the cake mixing ceremony was hosted by the infinity poolside of the hotel.
Traditional cake-mixing ingredients such as cashew nuts, walnuts, cherries, dates, prunes, figs, cinnamon, raisins, and black raisins, just to name a few were mixed at the cake-mixing ceremony with great enthusiasm and energy by all the guests who were part of the ceremony. Soon The Leela Gandhinagar’s talented team of culinary artists will be bringing delicious plump cakes to further enhance the Christmas cheer in the twin city.
“The Christmas cake-mixing ceremony goes back several centuries. It symbolises the festive spirit of getting together, celebrating good company, and relishing delicious food.
