R ARIVANANTHAM
We have heard of one old Tamil story that a clever horse trader minting money by changing the foxes into horses and cheating the gullible buyers. It is the same case with the entrepreneur-turned actor Saravanan Arul. All stars can shine in the filmdom but becoming a superstar will remain a distant dream. It needs a lot of dedication, hard work and mass appeal to become a superstar. Yes, it’s not a child’s play.
Indian cine buffs are savvy and encourage newcomers provided they show extraordinary talent and uniqueness. They will not enjoy copycats like Saravanan.
Similarly the entrepreneur-turned-actor Saravanan Arul has fulfilled his passion for cinema through his film ‘The Legend Saravanan.’ But extraordinary costumes, settings and lavish spending for the film become redundant without any expression on his face in the entire film. His body language imitates the style of Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Sivaji,’ but he failed to show any kind of expression like Rajini.

Saravana Stores owner Saravanan Arul has achieved great success in his business after becoming famous in its commercials, so he thought why not act as a hero in cinema as well, so the film “The Legend” is made by directors JD-Jerry, his favourite directors.
Saravanan Arul’s crush on Rajinikanth while the film was being made, or even at the age of 70, he continues to dance, sing, fight, comedy, pair up with young heroines in popular films and the people enjoy it.
World renowned Tamil Nadu scientist Dr Saravanan is researching and trying to find a new cure for diabetes so that no one else dies of diabetes in his village, Robo Shankar, who was a school friend in his village. But how Legend Saravanan resists the conspiracies of the drug mafia against it is the rest of the story of The Legend.
Legend Saravanan, who runs a medical college in Pooncholai village, has done a lot of research as a scientist and has gained worldwide recognition. In contrast to his character, Suman invents wrong medicines and causes people to suffer. The directors JD-Jerry have told a great story about how legend Saravanan beats up this drug mafia gang.
Urvashi Rautela, a North Indian heroine who initially appears as a village duck-herder, shows up a little further and turns up as a lecturer at Saravanan’s college to take lessons. The love scenes between him and the legend Saravanan are very special. The scenes of legend Saravanan, who burns down Urvashi Rautela’s house, beats them up and then gives advice to the college students was touching.
Harris Jayaraj’s songs and background music, JD Jerry’s grand making, Urvashi Rautela’s charisma, Vivek’s comedy, Yogi Babu’s comedy at some places and good message are pluses. The Mozalu Mozalu song with Yashika Anand and the Wadi Vasal Wadi dance song with Rai Lakshmi are grandeur.
The movie stars Ilaya Thilakam Prabhu, Nasser, Vijayakumar, Latha, Vivek, Yogi Babu, Robo Shankar, Devadarshini and Suman.
Legend Saravanan has tried hard in action scenes and romance scenes to give tough to top heroes.
Directors JD – Jerry’s film ‘The Legend’ is visually as grand as their promos but failed to bring out emotion/expression in his acting.
