We all have a friend who is adorably goofy and makes us go rolling on the floor laughing and yet so endearing that we always root for them to win against all roadblocks. Well that’s Gummu, the Polar Bear on Sony YAY!’s new show Bhaalu Ye Bindaas Hai. This show narrates short tales of goofy adventures of Gummu whose clumsiness clad with determination to overcome any hurdles will have kids rolling over the floor with laughter. The show originally known as David Backkom, is a much revered TV series which is reintroduced by the channel in a cool desi narrative. Further celebrating his goofiness, the channel also hosts a special event called Bindaas Bhaalu Ki Class on 19th June at 4 pm through a Zoom session.
The session will showcase handpicked snippets of stories from the show where Gummu’s world turns upside down each time he tries something new. The kids will also get a chance to channelize their creativity in true style of Bhaalu with a doodle workshop hosted by well-known Children Book Illustrator – Sunayna Dey. Through the quirky art form of doodling, young fans will learn how to express themselves and give flight to their imagination. Art mania gets even crazier with Edwina Lobo, the Founder of The Springboard, who will encourage kids to colour outside the lines and put their goofiness to work in her art class.
