MUMBAI, APRIL 16

At least three rear coaches of the Dadar-Puducherry Express derailed near Matunga station in Mumbai on Friday night. No casualty has been reported in the incident which took place around 9.45 pm soon after the train departed the Dadar terminus.

Reports said local services have been affected between CSMT and Kurla station.

Earlier this month, ten coaches of the Lokmanya Tilak-Jaynagar Express (Pawan Express) had derailed near Nashik, leaving two passengers injured.

The incident had taken place between Lahavit and Devlali stations in Bhusawal division of the Central Railway.
