Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president MK Stalin on Wednesday expressed his gratitude to N Ram, Director, The Hindu Publishing Group (THG); former Editor-in-Chief, The Hindu Group of Publications; Trustee, Asian College of Journalism, on raising his voice in support of NEET exemption.

Our fight is not to seek exclusive concession for Tamil Nadu, but to ensure a level playing field for the marginalised and underprivileged who are chased away by the coaching-driven, discriminatory #NEET. According to the social media microblog, Twitter handle of Tamil Nadu Directorate of Information and Public Relations, the Chief Minister has written a thanks note to Thiru N Ram, in English as well Tamil, stating that “Our fight is not to seek exclusive concession for Tamil Nadu, but to ensure a level playing field for the marginalized and underprivileged who are chased away by the coaching driven, discriminatory NEET. Will strive to strengthen federalism in India. Thank you, Thiru N Ram.”
