TN further relaxes lockdown restrictions for IT, ITES units

CHENNAI, JULY 10

The Tamil Nadu government on Friday further relaxed the Covid-19 lockdown conditions for Information Technology (IT) and IT Enabled Services (ITES) companies.

In a statement issued here, the government said from July 13 onwards, IT and ITES companies, located within the Greater Chennai Police jurisdiction – barring the Covid-19 containment zones, can function from their offices with 50 per cent of their total staff strength.

The government said the companies have to provide transport facilities to 90 per cent of those attending duty, the order issued by the Chief Secretary said.
