Over a century old company has all praise for the Tamil Nadu Government led by Chief Minister MK Stalin for its Ease of Doing Business (EODB), which made it a smooth sailing while processing opening a new office in Chennai.
A top official of the 104 year-old Houston-based KBR (Kellogg, Brown & Root Enginneering) said while unveiling its 2nd office in Chennai and 4th in India on Friday.

Inaugurating the Chennai’s 2nd office at Ascendas International Tech Park in Tharamani, Jay Ibrahim, President, Sustainable Technology Solutions, said, “KBR aims to capitalize on the high-caliber engineering talent available in Tamilnadu’’.
Reply to a query on hydrogen carrier study, he said KBR is under the process of assisting a leading international corporation to reduce the carbon footprint. He said that the company aims to triple its work force before the end of this year.

KBR has been operating in India since 1974 delivering key grassroots and revamp projects in ammonia, refining and petrochemicals, with the recent office inaugurated in 2008 in Gurgaon, in 2012 in Pune and 2014 in Chennai, a statement from the company said.
