Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Fisheries, Dairy and Animal Husbandry Dr L Murugan met the Governor of Tamilnadu RN Ravi to invite him to take part in the Ondiveeran commemorative postage stamp release ceremony to be held in Tirunelveli on Saturday.

State BJP Vice President VP Duraisamy and others were with him during the meeting.
Dr L Murugan also called on the Governor of Telangana and Lt Governor of Puducherry Tamilisai Soundararajan and extended her the invitation to participate in the event.

Earlier on Tuesday, Dr L Murugan has expressed his gratitude to Union Minister of Communication Ashwini Vaishnaw for authorizing a commemorative postal stamp for freedom fighter Ondiveeran. Informing this through at tweet, the Minister has said the stamp will be released on 20th August in Tirunelveli in Tamilnadu.
