Tamil Nadu Minister for Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce Dr TRB Rajaa unveiled an exclusive job portal manyjobs.com for ‘Grey Collar Jobs’ (Entry-level jobs) in Chennai on Friday.
The portal was launched by the country’s biggest online matrimony provider matrimony.com
- The job portal focuses on providing job opportunities in Tamil and English, geared towards entry-level and frontline positions in industries like customer service and hospitality
- Under the guidance of Chief Minister M K Stalin and dynamic leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, the Dravidian-model government has created over 31-lakh jobs since it took the mandate in May 2021: Rajaa

Unveiling the portal, Dr.T.R.B. Rajaa said, “I congratulate matrimony.com for ideating the Many Jobs portal which will be available in Tamil and English, as the people in Tamil Nadu are following the two-language system. With Tamil Nadu being India’s talent & industrial capital and with focus being on creation of jobs for all, this app will contribute towards increasing the employment rate in the State. Tamil Nadu is also on the forefront of women employment – with around 42% women employed in India belonging to Tamil Nadu, Many Jobs will be an apt platform to facilitate the process of job seeking across the state.”
The Minister further said, “Under the guidance of Chief Minister M K Stalin and dynamic leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, the Dravidian-model government has created over 31-lakh jobs since it took over the mandate in May 2021. The government is also chalking out numerous welfare programmes for the people of the state and announcements regarding this would be out soon.”
