Virtusa Corporation, a global leader in digital engineering and technology services, proudly announced the commencement of a groundbreaking project at the centenary-old Lady Willingdon High School in Chennai. The project commenced with a Bhoomi Puja ceremony, graced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development and Anbil Mahesh, Minister for School Education, Government of Tamil Nadu.

This initiative, driven by the Virtusa Foundation’s unwavering commitment to education and community empowerment, represents a pivotal moment in the school’s illustrious history.

Lady Willingdon High School holds a cherished place as a beacon of educational brilliance in Chennai, its legacy echoing through generations. Virtusa’s leadership team, featuring Ram Meenakshisundaram, Chief Technology Officer; Ramaswamy PV, Chief Information Officer (CIO); and Venkatesan Vijayaraghavan, Executive Vice President – Delivery Program Management SL, Service line Leadership, alongside members of the educational board, lent their presence, adding significance and energy to the auspicious occasion.
