Smartphone major TECNO announced that it has reached the 5-million customer base since its foray into the Indian market 3 years back. To mark this milestone, it has launched a new variant of SPARK 6 Air that comes with a 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage at Rs 8,499, a release said.
The brand has seen a steadfast growth supplemented by TECNO’s ‘ahead of the curve’ strategy to introduce ‘India-first’ smartphones to disrupt the entry-level and mid-budget markets with products customized to cater to Indian sensibilities in a better way.
In line with this core product DNA, TECNO’s SPARK series 2020 portfolio focused on 3 pillars: Best Battery, Big Display, and Superlative Camera. Consequently, stellar products like SPARK Go Plus, SPARK 5, SPARK 5 Pro, SPARK Power 2, and the recent SPARK 6 Air enabled the company to consolidate its position in the sub-10k band. The new launches from the SPARK series are expected to further entrench TECNO in the budget smartphone market.

Additionally, the brand also announced a launch of a new variant of SPARK 6 Air that sports a 3 GB RAM along with the 32 GB internal storage which can be expanded to 1TB with memory card at an aggressive price of Rs 8,499. The new, more powerful variant will make the viewing experience more immersive one on its gigantic 7” HD + Dot Notch display, with more than 90% screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone will feature the same jumbo 6000 mAh battery along with a 13 MP AI Triple Rear Camera with Quad Flash, and 8 MP AI Selfie camera with dual front flash. The Slow Motion Video with 120 fps, Document Scan feature, AI Body shaping, and Google lens along with ASD, AR mode, and Bokeh mode altogether enhance the photography experience. The new SPARK 6 Air variant runs on an Helio A25, Octa Core 1.8 GHz processor.
SPARK 6 Air is also equipped with a unique audio sharing feature that enables users to connect two Bluetooth earphones or three Bluetooth speakers simultaneously to the phone for delightful family time with music and entertainment, during this period. The audio listening experience is enhanced with sound effects powered by Dirac.
The new SPARK 6 Air (3GB) will be available in two colour variants: Comet Black and Ocean Blue at Rs 8,499. All TECNO smartphones come with a one-time free screen replacement offer.
