To recognise the contribution of teachers who mould many great individuals, Rajasthan Foundation virtually felicitated and honoured Non-resident Rajasthani (NRRs) academicians working as teachers overseas on Saturday which was also celebrated as Teachers’ Day, a release said.

NRR Academicians such as Dinesh Kothari, MD, Delhi Private School Group, UAE, Dr. Mayank Vats, Associate Professor, Dubai Medical College, UAE, Jaivir Singh Rathore, Director Epilepsy Division, Whatson Clinical Foundation, University of South Florida, Dr. Ranvir Singh Rathore, Associate Professor, Dr. Pankaj Chandak, Specialist Registrar and Research Fellow, Kings College and Royal College of Surgeons of England along with other dignitaries from USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Kenya, and Uganda were among those felicitated on this occasion, the release added.

The event was organised virtually on Facebook and YouTube where viewers witnessed keynote Speaker Pt. Vijayshankar Mehta – Life Management Guru who spoke on the topic: ” शिक्षा – संस्कार त्रिकोण “.

Commenting on this initiative, Dhiraj Srivastava, Commissioner of Rajasthan Foundation said, “Teachers are those who help us think for ourselves. As we carry the legacy of our cultural heritage and traditions, Teachers are one of the most important mentors who play a key role in shaping futures of society. I pay my tributes to our former President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary, along with being a successful leader he was awarded the Bharat Ratna in 1954 and was a great teacher who was nominated 27 times for Nobel Prize. I am happy to know that people from our soil have contributed to an extent where they have made a mark globally as worthy well-known academicians. I thank this platform to felicitate the contributions of such great people from our state of Rajasthan.”

Rajasthan Foundation reached out and brought Rajasthani Associations based across the world together to celebrate Teachers’ Day. Participant associations were Rajasthan Association of North America (RANA), Doctors of Rajasthan International (DORI), Rajasthan Association UK, Rajasthan Association of North America (Canada), Association of Australian Rajasthani, Maheshwari Mahasabha UK, Rajput Association Australia, Rajasthan Association of Kenya, Rajasthan Association Europe Rajasthan Association Germany (RAG), Rajasthani Association Kampala, Uganda, Rajasthan Business & Professional Group (RBPG), Jain Vishva Bharati, London Social Group and Simply Jaipur.

The event witnessed the presence of 100+ Academic Institutes globally, including Private and Govt. Schools, Colleges, Pre-Primary Schools & Coaching Center/Institutes.
