Morari Bapu had recently appealed to the countrymen to take part in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, which was conceptualised keeping in mind the completion of 75 years of independence and to rally countrymen to hoist the national flag at their homes from August 13 to 15. Morari Bapu has also dedicated his 901st katha to Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the celebration of the 76th year of independence.
Morari Bapu has been hoisting the national flag to mark Independence Day for nearly three decades. The national flag occupies a prominent place in all kathas Morari Bapu delivers. Irrespective of the location of the katha, the flag of Sanatan Dharma is hoisted on one side and the national flag on the other. Moreover, if Republic Day or Independence Day coincides with the kathas, Morari Bapu unfurls/hoists the flag on the day before commencing the discourse. Morari Bapu says the tricolours place of pride is to inspire the audience as well as Indians living in India or overseas.
