AHMEDABAD, OCT 1
Governor of Gujarat Acharya Devvrat on Saturday inaugurated the “Know Your Air Force” Exhibition organized by the South Western Air Command (SWAC) Headquarters of the Indian Air Force in Ahmedabad.
Dignitaries from the Armed Forces and State Government were present on the occasion. Students from various schools and NCC cadets were also in attendance to witness the event.
- The Exhibition is open for general public/visitors on Sunday, Monday – October 2 and 3 – from 10:00 am to 06:00 pm at Communication Flight, Air Cargo Road, Ahmedabad.
The Exhibition comprises static display of various assets of Indian Air Force like aircraft, missiles, weaponry systems, radars etc. Apart from these, Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle (specialist vehicle having insight of the Indian Air Force) and a Flying Simulator (a gaming console on aircraft flying) are also made available for the students/visitors. The Air Force Band will perform on all the days of the event.

Pamphlets having information regarding career opportunities in the Indian Air Force were distributed to the students. Also, Air Force Band’s musical performance enthralled everyone present during the function.
