Gujarati film industry or Dhollywood is all set to give a fun-filled year 2020 for the movie puffs with wholesome entertainment. And now slowly and steadily coming out of the shadow of big brothers – Bollywood and Kollywood, Tamil film industry to produce good films.
As a trend-setter, ‘Beti Bachao Beti Badhao’ campaign has been portrayed with a new twist as “Convince your boys to behave or get thrashed” in Babubhai Sentimental, an action-adventure thriller, starring Nakshraaj Kumar and Shivani Joshi as the lead actors. They are well supported by Nisarg Trivedi, Kamal Sisodiya and Mayur Chauhan in important roles.
The trailer of this upcoming Gujarati film “Babubhai Sentimental” was launched by Mysha Films, Mori Group and Cizzara Cineart Studios at Time Cinema & Entertainment Private Limited in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. The teaser of “Babubhai Sentimental” was launched recently and well received with a huge hit on the social media.
When asked about the role of hero in this film, Nakshraaj Kumar, said, “A dream has come true for me with this film. This is my third film and I play the role of an angry young man. The director has given me ample space to show my latent talents with his best possible improvisation. Milan Sharmaji is really a task master which will be visible in shooting of difficult action scenes on par with blockbuster Bahubali.”
The film has four songs, including the title song and a song praising the mothers, composed by Hitesh- Vivek. Amit Patel deftly handled special effects and editing to enhance the film’s quality. “All artists have performed very well making my editing work very challenging,” Patel opined on editing.
The film script is writtenn by Raj Rathod. Nidhi Mori and Veena Sharma, both NRIs are the producers of the movie
Milan Sharma, Director, said, “There are many films releasing on different subjects, but it is unique film. Babubhai Sentimental is an action film, in which lead actor (Nakshraaj) has a weapon-one leg of a cot-to bring about a change in the society by resorting to violent method. A man who is sensitive and has a bad incident in his life that causes him to take up his weapon is shown in the film which will be loved by the viewers. Cinema is a powerful medium to convey good social message. We have judiciously utilised this to throw light on safety of women with different angle viz boys must behave themselves. And also this film shows religious harmony in the friendship between the hero, a Hindu and a supporting character of Kamal, a Muslim.”
“Babubhai Sentimental” is going to be released on January 17, 2020 in cinemas.
