With the advent of out-of-the-box thinking writers, talented, innovative directors and risk-taking producers, Dhollywood or Gujarati film industry daringly bares the present-day society well. One such film shedding light on the happenings in the society is  “53mu Panu”.

This film on the social issues is presented by Magnet Media Films in association with Fifth Veda Productions. It is set to be released on July 29. The film’s posters and teasers have led to a buzz among Gujarati film aficionados and they are eagerly waiting for the film’s release to see the suspense unravelling before them on the big screen.

In the run-up to the release, the film’s trailer was launched in the presence of the film’s star cast comprising Kinjal Rajpriya as Ritu, Aarjav Trivedi as Kabir, Mehul Buch, Chetan Daiya, and Jay Bhatt on Tuesday.

During our day-to-day life, we come across experiences that make us feel that the world around us is not as straightforward as it seems. There are many immoral activities going on in and around us but we do not pay enough attention to prevent them. For instance, we read about road accidents, abductions, corruption, scams, etc. but we knowingly choose to ignore them. Have we thought even once what our condition would be if we were to be entangled in any such incident? We possibly cannot even think about it.

The upcoming film “53mu Panu” will provoke the society at large to think. Yes, the story of the film will force every viewer to think about what he or she would have done if the incident had taken place with him. The key characters are Ritu, played by Kinjal Rajpirya, and Kabir, played by Aarjav Trivedi, who are in a relationship in the film.

Ritu is an enthusiastic and dedicated journalist and believes that her profession is a tool to change the world and make it a better place. She understands her responsibilities and does her best when it comes to speaking out against wrongdoings, corruption, loot, and scams. On the other hand, Kabir is one of the most renowned lawyers in the city, who believes that he must use his skill, capability, and contacts to boost his practice without becoming a judge of other people’s character and deeds.

For the first time, viewers of a Gujarati film will get an opportunity to witness research-based journalism at work. Moreover, the courtroom drama, where the arguments will unravel one secret about another in some gripping scenes, are sure to wow the audience. The film will also present thrill, suspense, and love in a new light.

The film’s title “53mu Panu” is based on its story and the plot. In card games, the winner is decided only when the final card has been revealed. In the same way, “53mu Panu” will keep the audience engrossed till the final moment when the final suspense is revealed.
