Transworld Group on Tuesday announced it had collaborated with HelpAge India to host eye screening camps to diagnose cataracts and conduct surgeries for underprivileged senior citizens in Mumbai.
The annual event took at two locations: Chendani Koliwada Thane West; and Gholvad PHC, Bordi Road, Tal Dahanu. Through this initiative, Transworld Group supported 50 cataract surgeries held at Bhakti Vedanta Hospital.
Following the surgeries, a comprehensive follow-up will be conducted after 4 weeks to ensure the successful recovery and well-being of the patients.
