Ahmedabad-based luggage company Traveller’s Fashion Private Ltd (TFPL) on Friday said that it has set a target to reach the Rs 100 crore turn over in the next three years and have acquired majority stake in a German brand Airline, a top official of the company said.
Speaking to the media on the launch of ‘2Strap’, the company owned brand and Airline, a Germany-based brand, Piyush Pushkar, CEO & Director said, “2Strap is manufactured in Ahmedabad and Airline is manufactured in China by Newcomer Group, world’s second-largest luggage manufacturer, which has recently acquired majority stake in the German company. Traveller’s Fashion Private Limited has also joined hands with an Indore-based company Brand Concepts Limited (BCL) who holds the license of various Indian and International brands like Tommy Hilfiger, HEAD, AND & Global Desi for the Indian market. Under this pact, Traveller’s Fashion Private Limited has got the distribution rights for these products in the Western Zone of India comprising Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajastha, Goa, and Madhya Pradesh.”
When asked about the setting up of units in Gujarat, TFPL Managing Director Kamlesh Shah said that as of now they have no such plan. But the company will set up plants in China and import them. We cater to the needs of both the high-end and cost conscious customers.”
