Tripura Frontier has lifted the 14th BSF Inter-Frontier Badminton trophy while Meghalaya Frontier and Gujarat Frontier have secured the first and second Runners-up positions, respectively, said a BSF release here on Saturday.
Vikas Sahay, IPS, DGP, Gujarat Police was the chief guest at the valedictory function of 14th BSF Inter-Frontier Badminton Competition held at the BSF Campus, Gandhinagar. He was accompanied by Abhishek Pathak, IPS, IG Gujarat Frontier, along with senior BSF officers, who all gathered to witness the spectacular closing ceremony of this prestigious tournament.

The competition, which took place from March 18 to March 22, 2025, brought together over 100 talented players from 13 BSF Frontiers and Training Institutions. The event served as a true testament to the athleticism, sportsmanship, and camaraderie that define the spirit of Border Security Force. The competition saw intense matches, with players showcasing their skills and dedication.
During the closing ceremony, the Chief Guest, Vikas Sahay, IPS, DGP, Gujarat Police, presented trophies to the winners and runners-up, honoring their exceptional performances.
In the team event, Tripura Frontier emerged Winners followed by Meghalaya Frontier and Gujarat Frontier securing first and second Runners up positions, respectively.

In his address, Vikas Sahay praised the players for their dedication and commitment throughout the tournament. He emphasized the crucial role that sports play in shaping character, fostering team spirit, and promoting both physical and mental well-being. He also commended BSF for its efforts in encouraging sports within the force and wished all participants continued success in their future endeavors.
