The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Friday released 4,60,000 tickets for the January quota.
According to the official website, the special entry darshan quota for next month is completely booked as lakhs of people continue to log in.
According to reports, 4,60,000 tickets were booked in 55 minutes as the TTD website received 14 lakh hits for darshan tickets at once.
It will release as many as 1,55,000 Sarva Darshan tickets for the month of January on Saturday.
In the meantime, the TTD has released 20,000 tickets per day from January 1, 13 to 22, 12 thousand per day from January 2 to 12, and from 23 to 31 respectively.
Also, TTD released 5,500 virtual service tickets online on Thursday for January 1, 2, 13, 22, and 26, which were booked within minutes.
Pilgrims with vaccination certificate or negative report of RT-PCR test done 48 hours in advance, alone will be allowed to visit Tirumala for darshan of Lord Venkateswara.
Meanwhile, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has cancelled the advance reservation of all rooms at Tirumala from January 11 to 14. The move comes in view of Vaikunta Ekadasi and Dwadasi.
According to TTD, priority will be given to common devotees to book accommodation at Tirumala in the current booking mode on a first come first serve basis.
“There would be no room allotments at MBC-34, Koustubham rest house, TBC counter; ARP counters from January 11 till midnight of January 14, 2022. Donors also cannot claim privilege allotments during the above-mentioned period,” the TTD added.
All VIPs coming for Srivari darshan will be allotted rooms at special counters set up at Venkata Kala Nilayam, Ramaraja Nilayam, Sita Nilayam, Sannidhanam, and Govind Sai rest houses.
