UAE’s favourite chai brand FiLLi Café, which has also spread its wings in the US and UK, expanding its footprint in India. As part of this, the brand has launched its first outlet in Chennai on Wednesday, said Rafih Filli, Founder and CEO of Filli Café.
Addressing reporters in the presence of the Tamilnadu’s Master franchisee S Malarvizhi and K Adithya of Avy Foods, Mr Rafih Filli said, “The first FiLLi Café had its humble beginnings in 2004 in Dubai when I took over my father’s café located in the Al Mamzar area. My unconditional love for tea and innovation made me introduce a variety of tea after take over, and that went on to became one of his super-hit signature tea brand at Global-level, the FiLLi Zafran. Transformed from a small cafe into a potent sensational brand now, we have established our business in countries like UAE, Canada, India, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UK, and USA.’’
He further said, “We are very excited to launch India’s first FiLLi Café in Chennai and it holds a special place among the expansion plans of the chai brand in the country. I am positive that the offerings from FiLLi will certainly have a strong impression on the patrons here, and more such outlets in the country are planned in the near future.”
