Aston Martin, the world-renowned British ultra-luxury high-performance sports car manufacturer, is set to make waves in the Indian automotive landscape with the launch of the ‘DB12 Coupe-World’s First Super Tourer’ in Chennai on Friday.

British Deputy High Commissioner for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Oliver Ballhatchet MBE launched the Aston Martin DB12 in the presence of Tushar Anand, Aston Martin, New Delhi at the premises of British Deputy High Commission premises in Chennai.
The actual delivery of the unltra-luxury car will commence in April 2024, the second quarter of next year, said Tushar Anand, Vice President, Aston Martin India.
Talking to navjeevanexpress.com, Tushar Anand said, ‘’Every car manufactured by Aston Martin has its own specification according to the needs and tastes of its high-end customers. The delivery car will take at least 6 to 7 months from the date of registering order from the customers.’’
When asked about the after sales service, he said that the company representative will reach out to the customer in case of any service needed at their door step, if any spare part is required, they would be imported from UK. The normal turn-around time for the normal service will be from 24 to 48 hours, Tushar Anand added.
Tushar Anand further said, the EV version of Aston Martin Car is expected to be available in the market before 2030.
He further added that the starting price of the Aston Martin DB 12, the world’s first Super Tourer is all-inclusive Rs 4.59 crore, excluding customization options. Combining a scintillating driving experience with exceptional refinement, state-of-the-art technology and indulgent luxury, the DB12 demands a new definition as the world’s first Super Tourer.
Replying to a query, Tushar Anand said that the company has received enquiries for Aston Martin DB12 Worlds First Super Tourer even from Tier-II cities like Pune in Maharashtra and Coimbatore in Tamilnadu.
