Sardardham, a public trust that works to further the education and economic opportunities of youth, on Saturday announced the fourth edition of Gujarat Patidar Business Summit (GPBS)-2024 will be held in Rajkot, Saurashtra from January 7 to 10, 2024.
The trust also announced to set up Sardardham University at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore in South Gujarat and the land has already been acquired for the same.
As a curtain-raiser of this event, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will inaugurate the Promotional Event-10 at Sardhardham Headquarters in Vaishnodevi Circle here on Sunday at 10 am. Gujarat Health Minister Rushikesh Patel and Industries Minister Balwantsinh Rajput will be the guests of honour at this event, said Gagji G Sutaria, Chairman of Sardardham, on Saturday.
Addressing the media, Sutaria said, “Gujarat Patidar Business Summit is a biennial business event held on the lines of state government’s Vibrant Gujarat Global Business Summit. The fourth fourth edition of Gujarat Patidar Business Summit (GPBS)-2024 will be held in Rajkot, Saurashtra from January 7 to 10, 2024. To promote the same, we will be holding roadshows in 50 domestic and international cities, including 10 in the United States of America (USA) commencing June 30 this year. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will inaugurate the Promotional Event-10 here on Sunday which will deliberate on methods of propagation of the summit.”

“Over 1,100 stalls from different categories like MSMEs, engineering, pharma, realty will be set up at this summit. More than 1,000 business representatives from 30 countries will be taking part in the exhibitions, business seminars, and B2B meetings organised under the umbrella of the Global Summit. Women-run businesses, agricultural community, the dairy industry, and GPBO members will be offered concessions to set up stalls. This expo will attract over 10 lakh visitors from all parts of the country. Already 75 percent of the stalls have been booked both online offline,” added Sutaria.
Replying to a query on the benefits of this summit to MSMEs, Sutaria said, “This Summit will be the best platform for branding and collaboration for MSMEs. This will also help increase the network of MSMEs.”
