Union Home and Co-operation Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the 10th edition of of the Gujarat Literature Festival (GLF) presented by Gujarat Media Club (GMC) on Sunday, December 24, said Shyam Parekh, GLF Founder.
This edition will be hosted by Gujarat University on December 24, 25 and 26, 2023.
Elaborating on the current edition, Shyam Parekh said, “The entire festival schedule will be announced by December 20. GLF is an open platform for all, especially for budding writers and authors. We have decided to hold three-four day sessions throughout the year from this session. Aiming to catch the youngsters, we flagged off this edition by celebrating the 100th year of Sharda Mandir School by introducing literature to children.”
“Incidentally, Gujarat University’s 75th anniversary celebrations – Paras Parv – is coincides with the GLF’s 10thedition,” said Gujarat University Vice Chancellor Dr Neerja Gupta.
GMC President Nirnay Kapoor was also present at the press meet.
Gujarat’s most prominent body of media persons – Gujarat Media Club – has come forward to encourage and support GLF, which is now the longest-running literature festival in the state.
