Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting (State) and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Government of India, Dr. L. Murugan, on the last day of his three-day Jharkhand visit on Wednesday, 25 December 2024, inspected the newly constructed railway station in Mohammadganj, located in the district, and inquired about the passenger facilities. A large number of local people had also come to meet him with their problems, which he listened to and directed the officials present there to take necessary action.

The Minister also visited and closely inspected the railway tunnel situated near the Bhim Chulha tourist spot. He gathered information from the present railway officials about the time limit for completion and other aspects of the project.

This morning, the Minister met with distinguished citizens and social workers, who came to meet him in Palamu, and listened to their problems. After that, he visited Akashvani and Doordarshan Kendra on the last day of his visit and met officers and personnel.
A tree plantation program was also completed with the blessings of the Minister. He then visited the Daltanganj Akashvani station, took stock of the available resources, and noted the problems being faced. He also conveyed his message to the local people from Daltanganj Railway Station and expressed his happiness about visiting Palamu.
Union Minister of State Murugan also reviewed campaigns related to health and nutrition, education, agriculture and water resources, infrastructure, skill development, and financial inclusion under the Aspirational District Development Programme on Tuesday. He also shared his ideas and suggestions during his three-day visit.
