Delhi Public School, Bopal hosted Annual Parenting Conference “Vatsalyam”, centred around Total Parenting Solutions last week, at Abhivyakti here.

The event was graced by the MD & CEO of Kalorex Group, Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff; accompanied by the CEO-Operations, Kalorex Group, B. Ananthakrishnan; the Director, Vandna Joshi, and the Principal, Sabina Sawhney, along with other notable dignitaries.
A large and enthusiastic turnout of parents from grades VI and VII students added vibrancy to the event, reflecting the school’s enduring partnership with its parent community built over the past 30 years.
Principal Sabina Sawhney warmly welcomed the gathering and highlighted Dr. Shroff’s remarkable leadership, deep commitment to child safety, parenting, and education.

The successful completion of 122 Total Parenting Solutions sessions was acknowledged, along with the vital role of parent-school collaboration in today’s fast-evolving and unpredictable VUCA world.
A special highlight of the event was the Fireside Chat between Dr. Shroff and B Ananthakrishnan, which provided meaningful insights into the vision and practical aspects of Total Parenting Solutions. Dr. Shroff further discussed the impact of digital addiction on mental health and productivity, with effective strategies shared for restoring digital balance, encouraging mindful usage and overall well-being. The importance of consistent communication between parents and children, along with a shared sense of responsibility within the home, was highlighted.

The Parent Community Network (PCN) was formally launched by Jayashree Kad, Director – Future Learning Design and Training (FLDT), representing a significant step towards building a collaborative and informed parent community. Following the launch, Kad offered valuable insights into the PCN, presenting it as an innovative platform that addresses key parenting topics and embodies the idea of parenting with purpose. She emphasised the vital role of active parental involvement in nurturing resilient and adaptable children in today’s VUCA world.

Adding a special charm was the exclusive Book Signing Session with Dr. Shroff. Parents had the unique opportunity of receiving personally signed copies of her books, making the experience more personal and memorable. Equally impactful was the presentation of saplings to all the attendee parents as part of the Green Initiative, accompanied by a parallel focus on wellness through the Healthy Living Initiative, reinforcing the school’s commitment to overall well-being.
The conference concluded on an inspiring note, providing parents with practical strategies for holistic parenting, promoting digital well-being, and providing a valuable opportunity to engage with Dr. Shroff for deeper insights into raising future-ready children.
