Venus Institute of Physiotherapy, which is part of Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University, recently marked its 10th anniversary with a 10-day webinar series aimed at enhancing students’ knowledge and clinical acumen. The sessions, held at the university’s Seminar Hall on Tuesday, saw participation from 107 students.
The series was designed to provide insights into advanced physiotherapy practices, with a focus on bridging academic learning and clinical application.
The sessions covered topics, including rehabilitation, pain management, sports therapy, and evidence-based physiotherapy techniques.
Notable guests included Snehal Desai (Board of Governors Member, Swarrnim University), Mahendra Chaudhari (CEO, NIDHI TBI, IIPHG), and Raj Shah (Founder, WeHear).

Dr Priyanshu Rathod discussed about the one’s career progression in physiotherapy, and Dr Joyal Tejpal spoke on early diagnostic criteria for cerebral palsy.
Other sessions included Dr Zarana Khamar’s talk on managing urinary incontinence, Dr Surjeet Chakaranarty’s insights into physiotherapy in the fitness industry, and Dr Tvisha Patel’s overview of electrotherapy prescription. Dr Prach Shah covered cervicogenic headaches, while the series concluded with Dr M. Balaganapathy’s session on a holistic approach to knee osteoarthritis.
Principal Dr Manisha Rathi thanked the speakers, participants and organisers.
