As part of the high-impact collaboration, the Vi logo will feature prominently on the leading leg of the iconic yellow CSK uniform, reinforcing its on-field presence while amplifying its digital footprint off the field.
Powering Passion On and Off the Pitch
The partnership aims to blend cricket, connectivity and community through immersive fan experiences. Over the next three years, Vi will roll out integrated campaigns across digital platforms, in-stadium engagements and exclusive fan interactions — including meet-and-greets, official signed merchandise and match tickets for Vi customers.
“Cricket is deeply woven into India’s social & cultural fabric, creating shared experiences that unite communities across the country. At Vi, enabling those connections is at the heart of what we do. Our partnership with Chennai Super Kings represents a powerful coming together of shared values — passion, performance, and resilience. Together, we will be bringing fans closer to the game they love, celebrating the sport and delivering seamless connectivity that enhances every moment of the cricketing journey,” said Avneesh Khosla, Chief Marketing Officer, Vi.
The association is expected to significantly strengthen Vi’s youth connect, leveraging CSK’s massive fan base across Tamil Nadu and beyond.
Building the Next Generation of Super Kings
Beyond branding and matchday buzz, the collaboration carries a strong developmental focus. Vi will support Super Kings Academy, the official cricket coaching initiative of Chennai Super Kings, which trains aspiring cricketers — both boys and girls — aged 6 to 23 years.
“We are delighted to welcome Vi to the Super Kings family. The association with Chennai Super Kings and Super Kings Academy reflects our shared commitment to nurturing the next generation of cricketers. Vi’s strong digital reach and youth connect align perfectly with our vision of building deeper engagement with fans and aspiring players alike. Together, we look forward to creating meaningful impact both on and off the field,” said KS Viswanathan, Managing Director, Chennai Super Kings.
The Academy has been instrumental in providing structured coaching, exposure and professional mentorship, helping young talents transition into competitive cricketing pathways.
A Brand Play Rooted in Culture
Industry observers see the tie-up as more than a sponsorship — it is a cultural alignment. With cricket commanding unmatched emotional equity in India, especially in southern markets, the partnership offers Vi a high-engagement platform to demonstrate its network strength and digital innovation.
For CSK, one of the most successful and widely followed franchises in the league, the collaboration further enhances its commercial ecosystem while reinforcing its grassroots development agenda.
As the season approaches, the synergy between connectivity and cricket promises to create electrifying fan moments — from the roar of the stadium to the speed of seamless streaming.
