Vishamakaran, a melodrama directed and produced by an IT guy ‘V’ under his production house Honey Frame Works hits the OTT on Friday (May 27, 2022) is a story of a manipulations through emotions. The film was produced in 13 days.
Triangle love story is not new to Tamil Cinema right from ‘Oru Kodiyil Iru Malargal’. Its presentation has evolved through the ages. The debutant director has done well but there is some scope for handling this triangle love story well.
Agni is a life coach who is in love with Taringini. Taringini wants to move abroad and study there.
However, she does not fulfill her dreams due to Agni’s manipulations and this leads to their breakup between them. A few years later Agni falls in love with Aigiri and gets married to her.
When everything is proceeding in a smooth manner, Taringini makes her re-entry into Agni’s life.
They both start getting along with each other again. Agni starts doubting their relationship. This leads to confusion in their marriage. What happens next forms the rest of the story.
The story revolves around only these three characters. V has done a decent job and is ably supported by Anicka Vikhraman and Chaithra Reddy.
Since the movie is more about manipulation, the actors have conveyed it through their emotions.
As a director V could have made the screenplay a little more tight. Technical aspects of the movie are awesome.
