Vision World Academy on Monday conferred Global Visionary Iconic Awards on six super achievers in recognition of their outstanding contribution to their respective fields here on Monday.
The awardees said that hard work, dedication, determination coupled with socio-consciousness were the success mantra. Further, there was no shortcut to reach the pinnacle of glory.
Founder of Vision World Academy Naren Shah welcomed the awardees, the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour with Mahatma Gandhi’s autobiography as a befitting reminder of simplicity and honesty.
Leading Neurologist Padmashri Prof Dr Sudhir Shah, who was the Chief Guest, in his address said, “The purpose of life is to remain happy and peaceful and make others happy and peaceful. Happiness is a journey, not a destination. We should remember that it’s not easy to find happiness in ourselves, but it is not possible to find it elsewhere. The road to success is different from highway to peace, bliss and longevity. In a nutshell, giving back to the society is real happiness.”
Guest of Honour Nayan Parikh, Managing Director of Nayan Parikh & Consultants and author of ‘Safalta thi Sampoornata’, ‘ The Power of Success’ and ‘Success Mantra’ conducted an interactive brainstorming session with the audience. Quoting Big B’s dad poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s poem on life’s lessons enthralled the audience.
